Cheddar Cheese Biscuits

2 Cups flour
1 1/2 Cup shredded cheese
1/2 Cup dry milk
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 Teaspoons baking powder
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/3 Cup butter or margarine
1 Cup plus 1 Tablespoon Water

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Lightly grease baking pan.
Combine flour, cheese, dry milk, sugar, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.  Cut in butter wieth a pastry blender or two knives to make coarse crumbs.  Stir in water until just moistened.
Knead dough ten times on lightly floured surface.  Drop by spoonfuls onto prepared baking pan.
Bake for 12 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.
